As some of my friends know, I am upstate for the summer.

I am currently sitting next to my friend at her bungalow. She is freaking out at how she missed the opportunity to see what I saw (its her laptop im using).

So here's the story...
I came to her while she was reading and sat down. There were (and still are) grandparents talking outside. So since i had nothing to do and she is just so awesome and considerate of other people she offered to get me her laptop for entertainment. That meant she had to go inside and get it. So im sitting outside, waiting for her and suddenly the grandparents start yelling (be aware that I dozed off). I "wake up" and start wondering what the hell is going on. So i listen and look where they are pointing and there just about 15 feet away from where I am sitting a friggen black bear is walking. I know its upstate and this stuff is normal but the bears here don't go this close to the houses.
Anyways I just stare and the grandparents are yelling at me to get into the bungalow (im next to its porch). But the bear is already walking away. My friend, Joelle, comes running out of the house after I get close enough to the door to call her. Now she is disappointed about not seeing the bear and goes to look where its walking...sadness...
Well, a few days ago she made a vow (most likely wont be kept) that she will see a bear up close by the end of the summer vacation, HA she missed the opportunity!! XD i feel so bad for her!

P.S.; its been 20 friggen minutes and they are still talking about the bear...-_-'
